Falcon manor settle wedding photographer.

I was so happy to be photographing at Holy Trinity Church in Skipton. Aside form being an incredible place I totally love how the whole of Skipton gather on the lawns at the front of the church. All to get a glimpse of the couple as they make their exit!

Involve the whole family.

Victoria & James decided to have their adorable dog join them for the wedding ceremony… and also a bit of dancing later on! I really love the challenge of getting a nice shot when couples bring their pets!

Victoria’s mum also did all of the flowers for the wedding. A brave undertaking but she did such a good job.

Reception

They held their wedding reception at Falcon Manor in Settle. I have photographed weddings there a few times now and it has definitely made an impression on me. At first glance the inside seems to be quite dark and photographically scary! However, as you start to play about and explore where the light falls, you find that it’s actually really beautifully lit. Victoria and James struck lucky on their wedding day. The sun was being very playful and enabled us to get some really unique pictures at the bottom of the beautiful stairs.

We even got out for some sunset shots which is starting to get more difficult as autumn slowly falls over the trees.
