It was the kind of wedding day when you pull up to the beautifully isolated Eden at Broughton Hall, step out of the car and breath in the clear air as the utter quiet and razor sharp sun light make you just stand for a while. I wandered to the front of the house looking for Jade and Josh and to see what they had designed for their outdoor wedding ceremony, instead I was met by 3 heads bobbing out from the hot tub. This set the tone for the day as although Jade and Josh had put a huge effort in to the planning and details of the day once the day arrived it was all about going with the flow and enjoying every single second which, in my humble experience is the secret to flipping brilliant day.
Matching formal and party time Jimmy Choo’s!How nice is this for a ceremony setting!Jade and Josh’s dogs are a massive part of their lives so it was only fitting that one of them delivered the rings during the ceremony.Yes, there is a lot of kissing shots here but I think it is vital to give couples space to spend time together and photograph those natural moments. It becomes a true representation of them as people and the relation they have. Sometimes couples appreciate having suggestions when shooting this part of the day and some couples are just so absorbed with each other it makes sense to take a step back and capture the love. I absolutely love this shot of Mum hugging Jade, the colours are so lovely. What a perfect way to reflect on your wedding day! So romantic and what a brilliant couple.
You should know by now how much I love photographing at Broughton Hall so if you are getting married at either Eden, Utopia or Broughton Hall itself I want to be there so drop me an email today.
