Weddings at the Coppermines in Cumbria are really suited to couples looking for a wedding that lacks the shiny grandeur of a large hotel wedding. They are couples who love a bit of rock scrambling over rivers, walking boots, wild scenery of the Lake District… whilst wearing a wedding dress and suit!

The Coppermines Cottages are a maze of rustic stone walled rooms so even your wedding preparations have a sense of the landscape.

The Coppermines as a wedding venue is all about the scenery. In all directions are huge vistas and it’s easy to get wedding photographs with you as a part of the landscape. Many of the couples who’s weddings I have photographed there end up printing a large scenic picture with them as a part of the landscape.
