Meet Scott and Cora and their really cool wedding story….
Scott is a great photographer and Cora a wedding co-coordinator extraordinaire and I have had the privilege of knowing these lovely people for ages now. Scott has helped me out on the odd wedding and he would nearly always be constantly collecting ideas for the day he got married building up a picture of his ideal day years in advance. About a year ago they started throwing wedding dates at me and proceeded to change it every other week until my diary was basically full of ‘potential Scott & Cora Wedding’ entries. About 2 months before the wedding Scott messaged me to say they had scrapped all their plans, booked Manchester Registry Office and Jamie Oliver’s restaurant and that was that. With a few family and best friends, no real plans and a whole lot of love they jumped in the cars and headed for the city.
Decisions decisions…. Cora went with the comfy feet option which was a good choice as she ended up walking the length of Manchester by the end of the day. Cora didn’t actually fit in her car with the dress on.The light as we left the Registry office was exceptional, just lovely.
I must admit that the idea of photographing a wedding right in the middle of Manchester city center made me a little nervous as I am very much at home in the country side. From the moment I stepped out of the car I was converted. There is an incredible variety of texture, colour and light everywhere you turn. I won’t have missed the opportunity to shoot these two on this day for anything. Thanks for asking me Cora & Scott.
