There is one thing about being a photographer of life and people that really brings home what you do and that is when you walk in to someones home and see your pictures on the wall. A reminder that a captured moment can mean so much for so long for the people who ask you to photograph them. I have photographed Matt and especially Kate over many years and to finally photograph her wedding was just such a privilege. They chose to marry at Reasetheath Hall in Nantwich followed by a marquee reception at the family home and no amount of rain was going to damped the spirits of this effervescent wedding. The whole wedding was re-branded as ‘the big shindig’ The original receipt for Kate’s inherited engagement ring! AmazingA little bit of London brought with them to the north. With brooding grey skies followed by glorious sunshine these lyrics could not have been more appropriate. Wellies and sun glasses summed up the day really. Kate’s mum spent days and months growing, picking and drying this confetti… definitely worth itYou must see the animated version of this spin over on my facebook pageI have no idea how Kate and her mum managed to organise such a massive and cool shindig with a constant smile from morning til dusk. I suspect they will be taking a long holiday after this.
Excellent work, Tat. Mais, bien sur.
