Hi, today I’m sharing my sister in law’s wedding with you! Simon and Colette who live in Cornwall are deeply passionate about conservation and treating the earth fairly and their wedding was a total reflection of these values. Held outdoors at Mount Pleasant Ecological Park, everything about the wedding was made or provided by themselves, family and friends.. a real team effort! This was the first time I had been a chauffeur for the bride, photographer and have to supervise my little girl who was a flower girl which was a bit crazy!

Colette grew nearly all of her own flowers in the garden!A very cute flower girl… but I might be biased. Mount Pleasant offers a totally unique ceremony setting, just stunning. A quick trip down to Porthtowan Beach for some portraits in such beautiful light. What better way to work off the vegan buffet than a mini Olympics! The bridal suite was a tipi which had incredible coastal views. The evening food was provided by the guests. This is less a salad and more an aesthetic experience! Simon and Colette managed to create a wedding that every ounce reflected their ethics and personality as well as providing a fantastic party for every guest. Deciding if to invite children to your wedding is a common debate but if you ever wanted an example of how to hold a brilliant family friendly wedding this is it.
