Wedding at The Out Barn
Tessa and Dan travelled all the way from London to have their wedding at The Out Barn near Clitheroe.
Even though they chose to have their wedding in winter.. on a farm. The Out Barn provided a great contrast to the elegance of Tess’ Pronovias dress. The Out Barn is a family run, in the middle of nowhere kind of place. The last thing you expect as you trundle up the long drive is the modern and clean design of The Out Barn sat against Clough Bottom Farm. It is attached to a restored 17th century barn which provides the cosy bit and the giant windows at the front of the barn look out on to one of the best Pendle views there is. Perfect for a winter wedding venue. Tess was brave enough to pop on her boots and venture through the farm to make the most of the setting which thank fully stayed dry for us!
A favourite Venue
I always feel at home at The Out Barn and you can see more recent weddings from the same venue in summer here:
Clough Bottom have recently finished their ‘wedding cottage’ meaning Tessa could get ready at the farm.Tessa sent me a pic of her amazing Pronovias dress before the wedding, soooo nice!It was pretty muddy everywhere around the farm so Jane the owner kindly let us use their garden path! The evening party doubled as a farewell as Dan & Tessa moved to New York straight after the wedding! As the sun sets on The Out Barn the venue utterly transforms in to something truly unique.
This is a fairly new venue which is constantly evolving and I can’t wait to see how it develops in the years to come.
